Gregory Logistics, Inc., began business in 1980 as Gregory Farms, a sole proprietorship owned and operated by L.W. and Anna Gregory. With only one truck, and help from their son, Larry Gregory, they hauled farm products as an except carrier.
Four years later, Gregory Farms was granted an I.C.C. authority to operate as a contract carrier with 4 trucks. Within another four years, the company became Gregory Transportation, operating 20 trucks with a wide range of customers in the Poplar Bluff, Missouri area and across the nation.
By 1993, Gregory Transportation, Inc. had grown to 50 trucks and 90 trailers. It is a service oriented company, which places top priority in serving its customers in every way possible. During this time, Gregory hauled for several major shippers including Briggs and Stratton, Royal Oak Charcoal and Quaker State oil, achieving an on time pickup and delivery status of 100%.
Toward the end of 1995, Gregory Transportation had grown to 80 trucks and 150 trailers. We attribute a major portion of our growth and success to our employees, our location and our customers.
As with any company, as it grown and prospers, changes are sure to come. In January of 1999, L.W. Gregory, Owner and President of the Company ceased operation.
Gregory Logistics, Inc., established January 1, 1999. Larry Gregory, President, has continued the success and growth necessary in a constantly changing market. In 2012, Laramy Gregory, Larry's son, joined the company and in 2017 he was named Vice President and Director of Safety.
Gregory has always viewed our employees as family and we feel that is the key to our success.
